Diana Kaplan, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology has vast experience working in both, the USA and Argentina. Dr. Kaplan is also certified as an ADHD Coach and in the last years she worked on Cognitive Neurofeedback Treatments specializing in treating ADHD in adults and children, as well as adults who experience age related cognitive decline and loss of memory.
Dr. Kaplan worked in NYC providing assessment, evaluations and psychotherapy treatments to families and adults suffering from depression, obsessions and phobias as well as children and adolescents suffering from Tourette’s Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorders and Learning Disabilities.
She provided Biofeedback Treatments to patients suffering from general anxiety, hypertension, and stress related disorders. Dr. Kaplan studied Contemporary Psychoanalysis at the Post Graduate Center for Mental Health, and at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, N.Y, New York.
She completed a Post Doctoral Training in Developmental Disabilities at New York University Medical Center, New York, NY and was trained in Biofeedback Techniques at The Menninger Foundation, Department of Psychiatry, Topeka, Kansas. She was an Associate Editor for Dr. J.G.Young and Associates, New York, NY for the books presented at the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions.
She was the Founder of the Hopeful Dawn Foundation, NY, New York, a charitable organization dedicated to create Centers to facilitate research, prevention and treatments to war veterans and other young adults who suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorders and other psychiatric disorders. She studied her Doctorate degree at the University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is originally from Montevideo, Uruguay.
